Delivery of researcher training and development sessions focused on communicating research to funders and external partners.

In 2021 Research Consulting was commissioned by Knowledge E, to deliver training for Egyptian researchers as part of their Science Communication Programme.

Two 3-hour workshops were delivered on (i) communicating research to funders and (ii) communicating research to external partners. Workshops took place online due to the COVID-19 pandemic and a mixed model of delivery was utilised, with tools and techniques such as presentations, breakouts, google documents and interactive polls.

The sessions covered topics such as understanding research funders and their priorities, developing successful proposals, collaboration and co-creation, how commercial organisations view research, building networks and enhancing visibility and enhancing engagement.

A total of 71 participants attended the sessions.
