We’re delighted to announce that Research Consulting has joined the Campaign for Science and Engineering (CaSE), the leading independent voice for UK research and development.

UK research and innovation are navigating a challenging period, from funding pressures to shifting policy priorities, and CaSE’s advocacy work has never been more relevant. Research Consulting’s work spans universities, funders, publishers and learned societies, giving us a broad, cross-sector view of how these dynamics play out in practice. These are insights that we are keen to contribute to CaSE’s ongoing work.

CaSE brings together a diverse membership of businesses, universities, professional bodies, research charities and individuals spanning the breadth of UK R&D, from discovery research and engineering to innovation across the public, private and charitable sectors. Through this membership, CaSE develops non-partisan, evidence-led positions that help research and innovation thrive.

Joining CaSE reflects Research Consulting’s ongoing commitment to strengthening the UK research system, alongside our membership of other key sector bodies including ARMA, UKSG and Knowledge Exchange UK.

CaSE plays a vital role in making the case for UK research and innovation at a time when both face significant pressures. As a consultancy working across the research ecosystem, we see first-hand how changes in funding, policy and practice shape the sector, and we look forward to bringing our cross-sector perspective to CaSE’s work. – Rob Johnson, Managing Director.
