They say good things are worth waiting for and we think that’s the case with our new website. We are delighted to formally launch our new website at – www.research-consulting.com – which sets out our service offer to clients, demonstrates our expertise and invites a conversation. It is all set within a gloriously refined and distinguished brand, is fully responsive across desktop and hand-held devices, and links out to our social media channels.
We’ve thought long and hard about the user journey and the pathways that visitors take to access the information they seek. Wherever possible, we’ve opted to simplify matters. The old website clutter is now in the skip in the cloud and beautiful new database-driven search facilities and bespoke content in their place. We are fairly confident that our message is clearer and more engaging and that site visitors will appreciate the simplified navigation. Having said that, we appreciate that websites, new and old, are always ‘under development’, and we know that there will always be aspects we can further improve.
As such, we would be very grateful if you have any thoughts – good or bad – on the site and could let us know. We describe ourselves as a ‘mission-driven business’ – and we will only ever make progress towards our mission if we communicate well, with clarity, coherence and consistency, including through our web-based communications.
Website projects take time and most companies probably underestimate the time it takes to successfully re-launch their online presence. Our website review, commissioning process and design and build was many months in the making. We took our time because we know the Research Consulting online brand is intrinsic to our ongoing success. It was not an easy process and it forced us to re-examine many assumptions and stated objectives about the business. We are though delighted with the end result and would like to thank Nottingham-based web developers Studio Seventeen for all their work and the Department for International Trade who part-funded a proportion of the cost to help us with our offer to clients overseas.
Visitors to the site will hopefully appreciate many new aspects – our brand has been refreshed, there is an attractive home page and inner pages, and the top-level menu provides simple route-finding. We are particularly pleased with our projects/case studies database, searchable by client type and project type, and are continually adding case studies to this section.
You can meet the team, find out our latest news, or get in touch. Early analytics show that the website is attracting significant web traffic, enquiries and positive feedback.
If you have a view on the new site, we would love to hear from you.
