Elizabeth Thorneloe - Research Consulting

Meet Elizabeth Thorneloe

Elizabeth joins us with a strong background in life sciences, developed during her time at the University of Nottingham, where she specialised in biochemistry, molecular biology, and microbiology. Her experience spans both academic research and clinical data management, with a particular focus on supporting oncology research and ensuring rigorous compliance with ICH GCP and UK regulatory standards.

Before joining Research Consulting, Elizabeth was a Senior Research Data Clerk at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. In this role, she managed clinical trial data across the full study lifecycle, supporting oncology research within the NHS and acting as a key point of contact for data integrity and compliance.

Elizabeth holds an MSc in Clinical and Molecular Microbiology and a BSc in Biochemistry and Molecular Medicine from the University of Nottingham. During her Master’s, she received the School of Life Sciences Outstanding Research Project Award in recognition of the quality and excellence of her work.

I’m excited to be joining the team at Research Consulting. I’m looking forward to bringing together my life‑sciences background and hands‑on research experience to collaborate with clients and partners across the research ecosystem. I’m looking forward to contributing to projects that strengthen research integrity and improve operational delivery across the sector – Elizabeth Thorneloe

We’re delighted to welcome Elizabeth to Research Consulting. Her background in life sciences and clinical trial data management broadens our expertise in this area and will be invaluable as we continue supporting universities, their partners and research funders to strengthen research management and delivery across the UK. – Dan King, Director
