Meet Dylan Storan
Dylan joins us with a strong background in scholarly publishing and academic research. His experience spans journal strategy, editorial board management, and research communication.
Before joining Research Consulting, Dylan was a publisher at IOP Publishing managing a portfolio of journals in the physical sciences. He led market analysis, strategic planning, and project management initiatives to drive journal growth, reach and profile within a highly competitive publishing landscape.
Dylan holds a PhD in Materials Chemistry from the University of Limerick where he focused on developing new materials for next-generation battery technology. He was awarded a prestigious Fulbright Scholarship to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. This international experience has given him valuable exposure to different research environments and approaches across continents. His firsthand understanding of both European and American research ecosystems provides him with unique insights into the global challenges and opportunities facing today’s research sector.
